ChapterTracker is the result of a lot of experience in networking groups and really captures important information in a reasonably easy manner. Other methods require a lot more effort and don't provide the reports and insights. Good job! This tool will help members be much more effective with their relationship marketing.

Privacy Policy: Referral Marketing Association Web Site

The Referral Marketing Association is dedicated to protecting the privacy and security of visitors to our Web site. This privacy policy discloses our data collection practices regarding Refma.org and ChapterTracker.com, including the information we automatically collect, the information our visitors supply to us voluntarily, and what we do with that information. For general legal information about using this Web site, please see our Terms of Use.

We do not share your information with anyone, except as explained below.

Credit card or other financial account information is not stored by Refma, but is handled independently by PayPal.

  1. Information collected automatically on Refma.org
At this time, the Referral Marketing Association is not collecting any data automatically; however, we reserve the right to collect such data in the future.

  2. Information collected voluntarily
We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide—such as your name, e-mail address, and other contact information—when accessing certain areas of the Web site.

    Refma Members Only
After logging in, members of Refma can access and update the following.

    • Change my Password: users can change the password used to access the site.

    • Entry Screens: users can input performance-related data, including client names, revenue amounts, etc.

    How we use it
All information is kept secure and used only for providing services to our Web site users and for internal administrative purposes. Among the services we provide is the ability for your chapter members and organizational leaders to view individual performance (statistics). Users outside of your organization may view only aggregate data or, when applicable, your listing among the top performers.

Otherwise, only Refma staff and our authorized agents have access to personally identifiable information provided by visitors to our site. However, your name and select information about you may be posted on the Rankings pages…should you perform well enough to land there.

We reserve the right to send Refma members certain communications that are considered part of membership. Such emails may include:

    • Automated emails necessary to ensure that members participate as part of their chapter’s account.
    • Announcements about new products or services, which may be co-branded with or provided by our affiliated business partners. In such instances, we will make the relationship clear.
    • Reminders about existing member benefits.
    • Member newsletters and alerts.
    • Dues invoices or other messages to help in our administration of your membership.

You may opt out of announcements and newsletters. Automated emails that remind members to enter their recent activities, however, are a key ingredient to the success of ChapterTracker.com…and opting out is not an option.

  3. Third Parties
We may share limited personal information with third-party service providers who:

    • Fulfill orders from Web site users;
    • Contact you on behalf of Refma; or
    • Facilitate some other aspect of the Web site’s activities, services or products.

These service providers have access to your information solely for providing these services on our behalf, and they are contractually prohibited from sharing your personal information with any other third parties.

We do not rent or sell phone numbers, fax numbers, e-mail addresses, or personal or professional identifiers to third parties.

When you provide us with personal information, you may be given the option of receiving information about other products and/or services from us or someone affiliated with us. If you choose to receive such information, you may be contacted directly by our affiliate, and they will handle your information in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
